میں اس قابل کہاں۔ بس شروعات ہے اور ابھی تک تو ڈھنگ سے قلم پکڑنا بھی نہیں آیا۔چونکہ ’چند کہانیاں‘ سینئر ہوں اس لیے مشورہ دے سکتی ہوں۔ رائٹر بننے سے قبل قاری ہونا بہت ضروری ہے, اس لیے پڑھو اور بہت اور سب کچھ پڑھو۔اس دور کا،پچھلے زمانے کا، آزادی سے قبل کا،آزادی کے بعد کا،ہر دور کے اردو ادب کا مطالعہ کرو۔دوسرے کسی رائٹر خاص طور سے اپنے فیورٹ رائٹر کا انداز تحریر اپنانے کی کوشش نہ کرو۔اور سب سے اہم کہ اپنی پہلی کہانی پوسٹ کرنے سے پہلے بہت مشق کرو ،ناول لکھنے سے پہلے چھوٹی چھوٹی کہانیاں لکھو۔
