Faisla (Decision) A Short Story by Aliya Tauseef. Today again, he was there at the cloth shop looking at the clothes of his choice. He has been coming to this shop for the last four months, used to ask the price and left. The minor difference today was that another customer was asking the price for the same cloth when he entered. Perhaps he was similar to him in circumstances who asked the price, touched the cloth and left. His next destination was the shop of a goldsmith where he had to ask the gold price. Every time he discussed the same thing after asking the gold price, but he used to come back again after some days as if his asking the price would lower the gold price to his desire. But it never happened. His desires kept him occupied. He has been unable to arrange for ornaments for his wife for the last two years.
